Raw material
At Premium Logs and tree services we specialize in kiln-dried firewood, sourced from locally felled trees across Scotland. We supply high-quality oak, ash, beech, birch, and cherry firewood, ensuring a clean, efficient burn with maximum heat output. Cut to size
Each log we sell goes through a carefully controlled process to ensure premium quality. Our wood is first cut to one of three available sizes, designed to suit different stove and fire sizes. It is then force-dried in our kiln, reducing the moisture content to meet.
Our kiln dring process
We use a specialized kiln-drying process to ensure our firewood meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Our premium hardwood logs are force-dried in our kiln, effectively reducing their moisture content to the optimal level. This process guarantees that our firewood is fully compliant with the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme, meaning it is dry, efficient, and ready for immediate use.
By kiln-drying our logs, we ensure a cleaner burn with less smoke, higher heat output, and reduced environmental impact, giving you a reliable and sustainable firewood solution.
Tested then delivered
To guarantee top-quality firewood, we check moisture levels using professional gauges before bagging the logs. Random moisture checks are also conducted throughout the process to ensure every batch meets our high standards.
We offer free delivery within 20 minutes drive of our depot, ensuring you get your premium kiln-dried firewood quickly and conveniently. For deliveries beyond this range, we can accommodate larger orders and travel further—just get in touch to discuss your needs.
